Rules

IMPORTANT !

New safety rules

a. NO passengers will be allowed during track sessions.

b. NO cars without car body will be allowed.

c. NO cars with supercharged engines will be allowed.

d. For roadsters, seat belt or harnay and a roll cage is MANDATORY. It must be made of steel tubing with a diameter of 42.4 mm and a thickness of 3.2 mm. The joints must be dovetailed and continuously welded. The mountings must be attached to the chassis. 

For other vehicles, a roll cage is strongly recommended.

e. For all car and motorcycle drivers, an JET helmet is MANDATORY. Half helmet Open-face will not be permitted.

f. For motorcycles, a kill switch is MANDATORY.

​g. For motorcycle riders, a back protector is MANDATORY.

h. Only drivers will be allowed in the paddock. Wristbands will be checked.

i. Fire extinguisher REQUIRED for cars.

j. Seat belt or harnesse are strongly recommended

                                                                   

ABOUT THE « O »ld Race

 

The “O”ld Race is a vintage race re-enactment, our only aim is to entertain you !

This is not a real race, there will be no timing system. 2 lap race with 2 participants at the same time will be organized in order to allow all registered to compete their session.

 

  Below following times:

                                   On Saturday: from 10am to 12.30pm and from 1.30pm to 6pm

                                   On Saturday: from 10am to 4.30pm

Therefore, we decided to limit registration up to 70 vehicles cars & motorbikes

Member of crews are limited to 4 maximum

Saturday June 15: €80 per driver and not per vehicle for the driving session

Saturday June 15 and Sunday June 16 €120  (payment payable to The “O”ld Race).

Insurance is included in the price

Technical inspection of vehicles: Friday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Briefing : Friday 6.30 pm

Driving sessions:

Saturday: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Sunday: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

We have defined several rules that pilot and their vehicles must respect in order to participate:

For pilot:

 

a. Practice session are limited to one vehicle per pilot (car or motorbike).

b. It’s allowed to add supplementary pilot on the condition of having subscribed an insurance for 2 days practice session for each supplementary pilot.

c. All pilots must have a driving license and an insurance for 2 days practice session.

d. Paddock access is reserved to pilot.

e. A “Vintage style” dress code is needed for pilots and mechanic , Helmet, glasses, shoes or boots for motorbikes, jacket…

f. Participant can’t be drunk or under the influence of drugs to participate to races

g. A test will occur before practice session!

h. A briefing will be organized before races. All pilots must be present.

Pilot needs to be aware that The "O"ld race is not a competition but an amateur re-enactment of a vintage race.

Therefore, it’s under participant responsibility to be cautious in their driving and behaviour as not to cause damage to their selves or a third party.

For vehicles:

                                                                                         

a. All motorbikes or cars must be American or European pre-54.

b. All cars must be equipped of a hood (whole or top only) firmly fixed.

c. All body panels must be secured

d. Gas cap must be put in place and secured

e. Brakes must be on working order

f. Gas tank must be secured and well maintained

g.For motorcycles, quick-pull throttle grip to prevent it from racing during a fall.

h. Seats must be firmly attached to chassis or car body

i. In order to respect in environment on the paddock site, vehicles with engine leak, must be equipped with collecting tray placed under vehicle upon paddock park

j. An extinguisher must be fixed on vehicle within easy reach

k. Fibers car bodies are allowed on condition they have be reinforced by a tubular armor

l. Batteries must be secured and well fixed

m. Race number must be affixed on both side of vehicles and clearly be identified (stickers or magnets are not allowed)

o. Cars and motorbikes will be submitted to security inspection on Friday June 12th 2026 from 3pm to 6pm.

Vehicles will be range by categories. You can go on subscription formula to consult them. At engagement reception, you will receive a race number. The subscription formula with payment must be returned to us before March 31st 2026.

Nota Bene : In case of non-presentation of original insurance for practice session’s certificate before the race, no reimbursement will be done! And no participation to practice session will be authorized !
